About Hope Nolen Sessums

Retired Science teacher. Master’s Degree in Biology and Chemistry

Always maintained an artistic advocation.

Established a glass studio in the 1980s. Glass presented many avenues for creativity. Became proficient in stained glass panels, mosaics, faceted glass, fusing and slumping. Studied at Pilchuck Glass School for 6 summer secessions. Chosen for the first Master’s class with Stanislav Libensky and Jaroslav Brychtova in sculpture and kiln casting. Exhibited sculptures in glass and bronze which still show in the Second Street Gallery in Bandon, OR. For the last six years concentrated on less physical expressions in photography, printing, and painting. Together they support observation, imagination, and presentation.

I continue to play and enjoy!
